Hopefully by now you have all watched last week’s Degrassi finale, because it was definitely full of drama. The first part of our Inside Degrassi Series has come to a close, but we will continue posting interviews each week once the new season begins in 2011. For now, we leave you with some insight to everyone’s favorite Degrassi cast member: Munro Chambers.
What’s your favorite thing about playing Eli on the show?
Eli is such a fun character to play. He has so many layers and problems that really make him a deep and interesting character.
What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled on set?
James (Fitz) and I once went into the tutoring room and placed the chairs and desks in strange places around the room. There may have been a chair near the roof…
Is your music taste at all similar to your characters’ music taste? What are some of your favorite bands?
Eli and I don’t really share the same taste in music. He is more “emo-metal”, where as I enjoy everything from Lil Wayne and Drake to Dave Mathews Band and Jack Johnson.
What was your first day on set like? Were you nervous and who were the first people you became friends with?
My first day on set was amazing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming.
