This week we spoke with Landon Liboiron who plays Declan Coyne on Degrassi. Find out about Landon’s favorite Degrassi couples, outside projects and what he thinks about long distance relationships after the cut. Don’t forget to tune into TeenNick at 9PM ET for the new episode!
Holly J and Declan had a long distance relationship in the beginning of the Boiling Point. What’s your opinion on long distance relationships?
Long distance relationships suck. It’s one of those things where the person you’re dating has to mean the world to you, that you’d be willing to basically wait until it can work. Or you work your ass off to make it work. I’m not a big supporter of the long distance thing, but if she (or he), hits you where it hurts, then I say try to make it work.
If you could make up the ideal life for your character for the rest of senior year, what would happen?
Declan would quit school and run away with Holly J to some awesome place where people don’t get pregnant at school and Tweet all the time.
Aside from the episodes you’ve been a part of, what has been your favorite storyline on the show?
Good question. For what I’ve seen, I enjoy the Clare and Eli love story. I think Munro brings really cool qualities to the character and Aislinn’s Clare is a cute mix for that. Definitely not a fan of the Sav-Holly J thing though! (wink)
If you were actually able to spend an entire summer in a penthouse in New York City , what would you do?
You know all that crazy stuff they do in Gossip Girl…not that.
You’re in a movie coming out soon called Zombie Punch. What’s the movie about and what was your role in it?
That film actually was an independent horror/action flick about karate fighting zombies. I don’t think it will ever come out because my friend directed it and I don’t think he ever got distribution. Although I just started working on a CW show called “Life Unexpected” all should start watching that when you’re not watching Degrassi.
