October 8th is finally here, and with it comes our big announcement! Every week at 7:30PM a new interview with a different cast member of Degrassi will be posted! This week we spoke with Jessica Tyler who plays Jenna. Read what Jessica has to say about her cast mates, Jenna/KC’s relationship and more! Your character Jenna is a finalist in a national music competition. Would you ever consider a career in music?
Well I’m not a big fan of competitions so I don’t think I could do it! Competing for something that I love isn’t really my style .

What made you decide to audition for Degrassi?
When I was about 12 years old I started watching Degrassi and I fell in love with it! I remember saying “One day I want to be on that show.” So when the offer came up, how could I refuse!

K.C. abandons Jenna when he finds out she’s pregnant. Can we expect K.C. to support Jenna once the baby is born?
Truthfully, I have no clue! I hope KC does realize that they’re in this together and starts to help Jenna out, but when the baby is born I can only imagine the fright he might experience!

Do you find yourself closer with the cast members you share scenes with? Who are your best friends on set?
After going to India with the cast I became really close with everyone. I realized how we all relate with each other in different ways. Certain people I hang out  with and others I can look to for advice! The cast really has become like a family.

If you had to pick one place in the world to relocate the filming of Degrassi to, where would you pick?
I would choose New York City ! I absolutely love it there, and I think it would be a great setting for Degrassi to take place in. We already filmed a movie there, why not a whole season?
