You may refer to Hayley Williams as ‘just another lead singer’ with outrageous vocals and awesome hair, but there is a much deeper story behind this girl’s journey into the music world.
At a young age, Hayley, now 21, was known for being very shy and uncomfortable in front of large audiences. The small town girl made one of the most life changing moves when she was thirteen years old. From Meridian, Mississippi to Franklin, Tennessee, Williams soon met her soon-to-be band mates, the Farro brothers. In 2002, Hayley began taking vocal lessons and auditioning for local bands, which eventually aided her in getting over her stage fright. With the help of Jeremy Davis and Jason Bynum, the group formed the ever so popular Paramore. It wasn’t until April of 2005 when the band inked their record deal with Fueled by Ramen. Hayley is well known for being a sweet young lady who nevertheless, kills it on stage and does her job pretty damn well. Her cool hair is a fantastic addition too.
Early this year, Williams appeared on the track, “Airplanes” by B.o.B which later released as a single and made its way to the top of the charts. The band is currently playing a couple shows on the west coast then making their way overseas to New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
